Terms of Service
Last updated October 27, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you (and the business you represent) and [Company legal name] (“Lucento”, “we”) for your use of Lucento. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use Lucento for a business, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
1. The service
Lucento connects to your store and marketing accounts to report on sales, inventory, advertising and email performance, analyse your products with AI, and make changes to your Shopify store that you set up. We may improve, change or discontinue features; if we remove something material you rely on, we will give reasonable notice.
2. Your account
Lucento is for business use. Keep your sign-in secure and tell us at [support@lucento.app] if you suspect unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity in your account, including what team members you invite do.
3. Connected services
When you connect Shopify, Meta, Klaviyo or another service, you authorise Lucento to access it with the permissions shown. You confirm you have the right to give us that access. Your use of those services remains subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or for changes they make to their platforms.
4. Changes Lucento makes to your store
Product Rules and price edits change your live Shopify store (for example prices, compare-at prices, tags, status, collections and sales channels). Lucento shows a preview and asks you to confirm before running a rule by hand, and applies scheduled rules as you configure them. You are responsible for the rules you create and the changes they make, including the prices customers see. Review rules before enabling them.
5. Estimates and AI
Reports depend on data from connected services and may differ from their own reports. Figures such as opportunity cost (sales likely missed while out of stock) are estimates, and AI analysis can be wrong. Use them to inform your decisions, not as guarantees.
6. Your data
You keep all rights to your data. You give us permission to host, copy, process and display it only as needed to provide and support the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may use aggregated information that cannot identify you or your business to operate and improve the service.
7. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse Lucento: no unlawful use, no attempts to access other customers’ data or break our security, no reverse engineering except where the law allows it, no reselling the service without our agreement, and no overloading it (for example by automated scraping).
8. Fees
Lucento is currently free to use during its early access period. Before we start charging, we will publish our prices and give account owners at least 30 days’ notice; you can stop using the service before any charge applies.
9. Our property
Lucento, its software and its design belong to us and our licensors. These terms give you a right to use the service, not ownership. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
10. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Lucento at any time and ask us to delete your data. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if required by law, with notice where reasonable. Sections 5, 6 (as to deletion), 9, 11, 12 and 13 continue after the agreement ends.
11. Disclaimer
Lucento is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, and our total liability for any claim relating to Lucento is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your data, your use of the service in breach of these terms, or the changes your rules make to your store.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [State], United States, and disputes will be resolved in the courts located there, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and, for material changes, email account owners at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Lucento after that means you accept the new terms.
